The ScanningService preview is a mode in which documents are scanned for which it is not possible to scan the complete documents.
The following documents can be scanned in preview mode:
- Magazines, catalogues and advertising materials
- Paper documents (e.g. vehicle registration document, parking card)
- Bills with attached advertising items (e.g. a notepad)
- Items in envelopes with ordered articles (e.g. pins)
Note: Parcels continue to be delivered physically.
You see the preview directly on the first page of your digital inbox.
If you find that a letter is not of particular importance and you do not wish to receive it, no further action is required. We destroy the document automatically and in a data-protection-compliant manner after 25 days.
If, on the other hand, you want the complete physical item delivered to your address, you can order the original.
