If you have subscribed to the ePost ScanningService, you can order one original document free of charge per month. For each additional order we charge a fee of CHF 3.40. The aim of this rule is a more efficient service. When your physical mail is scanned at Swiss Post's Scancenter and delivered to your digital inbox in the Swiss Post-App, you have the option of additionally ordering a scanned letter in physical form to your home once a month.
How does the ordering system work?
- Each month, one free original document is available to you.
- Unused orders are transferable to the following months.
- At the end of the year (31.12.) all unused orders expire.
- On 1 January you receive a free order again.
An example:
- You activate the ScanningService on 14 July and have one free original document available for the month of July.
- If you do not order an original document in July and place three orders in August, the first two are free of charge. The third order is charged at CHF 3.40.
- Unused orders expire on 31.12., and on 1 January you receive a free order again.
Why does this rule exist?
The aim of this measure is to make the service more efficient. Since you receive your mail digitally, there is generally no longer any need for original documents.
