Are you wondering what a particular status in the ePost app means?
Each letter shows a coloured status chip.
The colour indicates the category at a glance:
In processing — Delivered/accepted — Action or deadline to note — Error.
In processing Your letter has been received and is being processed. Applies to all digital options.
In processing (accepted by ePost) ePost has accepted the letter for processing. Applies to all digital options.
Handed over to the postal service The letter has been handed over to the postal service for printing and postal delivery. Applies to physical delivery.
Digitally delivered The letter has been delivered to the recipient’s digital inbox. Applies to ePost Standard.
Digitally delivered (not yet opened by recipient) Delivered but not yet opened by the recipient. Applies to ePost Plus.
Digitally delivered (opened by user) The recipient has opened the letter (retrieval confirmation). Applies to ePost Plus.
Digitally delivered (not yet accepted by recipient) Delivered; acceptance or rejection by the recipient is still pending. Applies to ePost Registered.
Accepted by recipient The recipient has actively accepted the letter. Applies to ePost Registered.
Rejected by recipient The recipient has actively rejected the letter. Applies to ePost Registered.
Not opened by recipient within seven days The deadline has passed; the recipient has not opened the letter. For ePost Registered, the letter is thus considered legally delivered. Applies to ePost Plus and ePost Registered.
Failed The delivery has failed. Applies to all delivery types.
Undeliverable The letter could not be delivered, for example due to an invalid address. Applies to physical delivery.
