Do you receive an error message that your address is invalid? We check the address on the basis of the information provided by Swiss Post. Check the following points and contact Swiss Post if necessary.
Please check the following points first:
- Is your letterbox correctly labelled with your name?
- Do you receive mail at this address?
- Is there a block at Swiss Post or is your address not visible?
Important: If your address is not visible at Swiss Post (e.g. due to a data block), we cannot recognise it.
Here's what you can do:
- Contact Swiss Post directly and have your address checked. Also use the Swiss Post customer portal for this: https://www.post.ch/en/help-and-contact
- Ask Swiss Post to lift the block or non-visibility so that your address is visible to third parties again.
- Please indicate that this is not a problem with the ScanningService or ePost, but with the visibility of your address data.
Note: As soon as your address is correct at Swiss Post and visible to third parties, you can verify it again and use it for the ScanningService.
