Procedure:
To consolidate two ePost accounts, it is necessary to manually transfer your documents from the old account to the new one. Upon completion of the transfer, you may proceed to delete the account you no longer wish to retain.
Important: If your ePost account is linked to a partner account, we advise retaining this account. Deleting the ePost account will only remove that account; the partner account and the associated digital mailbox will remain active.
Steps:
1. Access the account you intend to delete by logging in via the browser at ePost (app.epost.ch).
2. Navigate to the "Storage" section.
3. Click the document export button located at the top right corner (Note: Documents located in the trash will not be included in the export.).
4. Provide your email address and set a password for the export file.
5. Access your email inbox and download the export file.
6. Open the exported folder and delete the following files:
a. The "audit…zip" file
b. All files with the extensions .tsr and .json
Note: Documents may also reside within subfolders. Please thoroughly review all folders and subfolders to ensure the specified files are deleted.
7. Recompress the folder by right-clicking it and selecting "Compress".
8. Log in again to ePost via the browser (app.epost.ch) using the account you wish to retain.
9. Scroll down and select "Upload ZIP file here."
10. Choose the compressed file from your local storage and upload it.
11. Upon successful import, the imported documents will appear in a new folder within "Storage."
12. After confirming the successful import, you may delete the account that is no longer required.
13. Using your mobile device, log in to the ePost Mobile App with the account you intend to delete.
14. Navigate to "Profile," then "Settings," and select "Delete Account." Follow the provided instructions for deleting your account.
15. Upon completion of the deletion process, your data migration will be complete, and you will retain only one active ePost account.
