What Does It Mean to Link an Existing Account with ePost?
When you register with ePost using an email address already associated with one of our partners, your ePost account and the partner account are automatically linked. This process does not create a new digital mailbox. Instead, the existing mailbox is enhanced with full ePost functionality, allowing both accounts to access the same mailbox.
Important Information Regarding Linking:
-
A Shared Mailbox: Linking provides access to the same digital mailbox across both accounts—ePost and the partner. Any modifications, such as deleting, moving, or copying documents and creating folders, are synchronised between both accounts.
-
Access to Documents: Documents received via the partner are accessible in both the ePost and partner accounts. You may select the account in which you prefer to view these documents. Depending on the partner, documents may also be available in the ePost "eFolder" under Storage & Services.
-
Additional Features: The ePost application enables you to receive digital letters from other ePost senders centrally within the same mailbox. Additionally, there is an optional Scanning Service that permits you to scan and digitally send physical mail directly into the ePost app.
-
Unlinking: The linkage can only be removed by deleting the ePost account. If you require two separate mailboxes, please register with ePost using a different email address.
