You request the code in the Swiss Post-App. It is sent to you by letter to the registered address.
- Open the Swiss Post-App
- Tap «My digital mail»
- Then go to «Profile» at the bottom of the menu and then to «Personal data»
- Enter your full name as well as your address and tap «Update»
- Below the address, tap the «Verify» button.
- Check your address and confirm it with OK.
The address verification code is sent to you by letter to the address registered in the Swiss Post-App. This is how we check whether you have access to your letterbox. This prevents third parties from gaining unauthorised access to your letters.
As soon as you have received the letter, enter the code it contains and thereby verify your address.
Do you use the ScanningService? Then you can activate the ScanningService for each verified address.
Note: Every time you change your address or your name in your profile, a new address verification is required. As long as the address is not verified, no letters can be delivered to you digitally.
Note: If the ScanningService is activated, this address cannot be edited.
