Your account can only be deleted via the ePost app.
Please download the ePost app for this purpose and follow the instructions in the app to delete your account.
Important: If you still have active widgets such as the ScanningService, you must deactivate these in the Widget Store. Account deletion is only possible after the notice period has expired.
Please note that we can only delete your ePost account. If you use a different login, we can only delete the linked ePost account and the associated content. Your SwissID account or the Swiss Post login remain unaffected.
Important: If you still need certain documents, you must download them beforehand or request them in physical form. You will find instructions for downloading in the article How can I download a document from the app?
Here's how to proceed:
- Open the ePost app and go to «My profile» → «Settings». Then select the «Delete account» option.
- Confirm with «Yes, delete my account». Only then is the deletion carried out.
- For security, we send you an SMS code to your verified mobile number. Enter it to confirm your authorisation to delete the account.
Note: We cannot process requests for restoration after deletion has taken place, as the data has been irreversibly deleted. ePost cannot accept cancellations by email or post. Only you can delete your account.
