You manage your addresses in the Swiss Post-App, in your profile under «My digital mail», «Profile», «Personal data», in the «Addresses» view. There you register new addresses, verify them and adjust existing addresses.
Register a new address
- Tap «Profile» in the menu and then select «Personal data».
- Switch to the «Addresses» view and tap the green «+» at the bottom right.
- Enter your address.
Verify the address
A newly registered address must be verified before you can receive mail via it. You receive the code by letter. You will find the steps here: How do I receive the code for address verification?. If verification does not work, this article will help: I cannot verify my address.
Change the address
You adjust an existing address, for example after moving or a name change. You will find the steps here: I cannot change my address and I got married. Where can I change my address?.
Edit or delete an address
You edit or remove existing addresses in the same «Addresses» view.
As soon as the ScanningService is active for an address, you cannot change or delete it directly. In this case, proceed as follows:
- Register and verify the new address.
- Activate the ScanningService for the new address.
- Tap «Profile» → «Personal data» → «Addresses».
- Deactivate the ScanningService for the old address by sliding the switch to the left.
- Tap the three dots next to the old address and select «Deactivate address».
