You cancel the ePost ScanningService by deactivating the relevant widget.
- Open the Swiss Post-App
- Tap «My digital mail»
- Go to «Profile» at the bottom of the menu
- Now tap «Widget Store» and cancel the ScanningService subscription there
Notice periods
You subscribe to the service on a monthly or annual basis. You can cancel at the end of a month or at the end of the contract. In the first chargeable month, you can only cancel at the end of the following month. From the second chargeable month, you end the subscription at the end of each current month.
What happens after cancellation?
- Deactivating the widget also ends the forwarding order with Swiss Post. This process usually takes three to four days. After that, you again receive your mail physically at your address instead of digitally in the Swiss Post-App.
- The mail received in the Swiss Post-App up to that point remains accessible.
- Within 25 days of deactivation, you can order original documents subject to a charge. These orders are deducted from your existing quota.
- Billing for the ScanningService runs until the end of the month following the deactivation.
