Yes, using the ScanningService with a PO box address is in principle possible. The condition is that you use the «PO Box Standard» option with Swiss Post.

Here's how you can use the ScanningService if you have a PO Box Standard:
- In addition to your PO box address, also enter the associated residential address (or vice versa) in the Swiss Post-App, «My digital mail» section, «Profile», «Personal data», «Addresses». To do so, tap the green plus at the bottom and then select «Add new address manually».
- You receive a physical letter with a verification code, which you must enter within 14 days in the Swiss Post-App, in the same place.
- Then activate the ScanningService for your residential address.
Separate PO box and ScanningService: not possible
For a separate PO box without an associated residential address, use of the ScanningService is unfortunately not possible. The ScanningService requires a verified residential address.
