No, deleting a «My digital mail» account is not possible within the Swiss Post-App.
The automatically created, restricted account is technically required so that digital letters from Swiss Post can be displayed in the Swiss Post-App. This account is free of charge and enables the digital inbox: as soon as you have verified your address, you automatically receive mail from certain senders digitally. Since this account is permanently linked to your Swiss Post-App login (SwissID), you cannot delete it.
Deactivate the digital inbox
If you no longer want to use the digital inbox, you can deactivate it:
- Open the Swiss Post-App, tap «My digital mail» and tap «Profile».
- Select «Manage senders».
- Slide the switch at «Digital mail reception» to the left to deactivate it.
