- ePost as well as the ePost ScanningService comply with the IT and data protection standards of Swiss Post. Your data is stored in Switzerland. As part of the provision of services, individual data may also be processed abroad by contractually bound processors. The information in the data protection declaration is authoritative.
- We verify your identity at several so-called Level of Trust levels. In this way we also do justice to postal secrecy in the digital world.
- Your documents are stored in encrypted form. Normally, only you can view their content. In exceptional cases justified on technical or operational grounds (e.g. support or error analysis), tightly limited, authorised access may take place.
- Communication via our system is encrypted. It is thus significantly better protected than conventional communication by email.
- We check all documents for viruses. This means you can open and process your digital mail with peace of mind.
- For the login, SwissID offers two-factor authentication. This additionally protects your access to your user account.
- We regularly check our system for vulnerabilities using penetration tests. In this way we keep the security level consistently high.
