To ensure that you receive all digital mail notifications via the Swiss Post app, please configure the following settings on your smartphone. (Push notification settings within the app will be provided at a later time):
iOS
1. Open the Settings app on your smartphone.
2. Scroll down to the "Apps" section and select it.
3. Enter "Swiss Post" in the search bar and select the application.
4. Navigate to the "Notifications" section.
5. Enable "Allow Notifications" at the top, and configure your preferred notification display options (such as lock screen, notification centre, or banners).
By doing so, you will ensure that no digital mail is missed.
Android
1. Open the System Settings on your Android device (represented by the gear icon).
2. Scroll down and select "Apps" (this may also appear as "Apps & Notifications" or "Applications").
3. If necessary, tap "Show all apps" and locate "Swiss Post" in the list, or use the search function at the top to find it. Select the "Swiss Post" entry.
4. Within the app information, tap "Notifications" (or "App notifications").
5. Activate the main toggle labelled "Allow notifications" or "Show notifications". Below this, you can typically customise the notification types, such as:
a. Lock screen notifications
b. Pop-up / Banner / Floating notifications
c. Sound and vibration
6. Enable the desired options to ensure notifications are visible, particularly on the lock screen and as pop-ups or banners.
