To fully utilise the ePost service, users are required to enter personal data within the application. This data is employed for verification purposes during digital delivery and for further processing through ePost. It is stored exclusively by ePost Service AG in Switzerland. User data utilised for communication purposes may also be stored abroad. Customers can always review the data saved in their profile and have the ability to delete, modify, or add information at any time.
Personal data will never be disclosed to service partners and/or senders without the explicit consent of the user.
- Consignment Data
When using ePost, data related to received consignments is stored. This includes the received files as well as associated metadata. Such data is processed solely for the purpose of service fulfilment and is handled exclusively in Switzerland, adhering to the highest security standards and in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
- App Usage Data
To optimise products, offers, and operations, ePost (ePost Service AG) employs tracking technologies within the ePost application that anonymously analyse customer behaviour. It is not possible to identify individual users from this data.
